ctivist – When GAAMC formed in 1972, 95% of Gay organizations had “Activist” incorporated into their name. Even though we are now primarily a social and support organization, we have kept “Activist” for its historical relevance to our beginning.

lliance – Inclusion of the GLBTI community.

ounty – Where we are geographically located, even though we are open to all.
